Jumuah Prayer, Fridays 1:00 PM

The "Historic" Ar-Razzaq Islamic Center

ArRazzaq Islamic Center, the oldest Masjid (Mosque) in the State of North Carolina, is located near downtown Durham on West Chapel Hill Street. Ar-Razzaq has long been a pillar of the neighborhood, the City of Durham, and the nation, as well as a leader within an association of numerous masjids and Islamic Centers nationwide.  Established in the early 1970s, ArRazzaq Islamic Center was the first Masjid opened in North Carolina and remains the state’s oldest Muslim community today. Our doors are open to all Muslims and people of faith. We welcome anyone to worship with us as well as visitors interested in learning more about the religion of Al-Islam.  Jumuah Prayer is held at 1:00 PM every Friday!

O Humanity! We have created you of a male and female, and made you into nations and tribes, so that you may know one another. Verily, the most honorable of you with in the sight of G-d is he who is the most righteous of you. G-d is All-knowing and All-aware.

Holy Qur’an, Chapter 49, Verse 13

ArRazzaq Islamic Center, the oldest Masjid (Mosque) in the State of North Carolina, strives to be a welcoming place for everyone. We extend an open invitation to our neighbors, schools, and other organizations to visit us and learn more about the religion of Al-Islam.
