The “Historic” Ar-Razzaq Islamic Center
ArRazzaq Islamic Center, the oldest Masjid (Mosque) in the State of North, Carolina, is located near downtown Durham on West Chapel Hill Street, Ar-Razzaq has long been a pillar in the neighborhood, the City of Durham, and the nation, as well as a leader in an association of numerous Masjids and Islamic Centers nationwide. ArRazzaq Islamic Center is the first Masjid opened in the State of North Carolina, dating back to the early 1970s and serves as the oldest Muslim Community in the State today. Our doors are open to all Muslims and people of faith. We welcome anyone to worship with us as well as visitors who are interested in learning more about the religion of Al-Islam. Jumuah Prayer is at 1:00 PM on Fridays!
O Humanity! We have created you of a male and female, and made you into nations and tribes, so that you may know one another. Verily, the most honorable of you with in the sight of G-d is he who is the most righteous of you. G-d is All-knowing and All-aware.
Whoever believes in G-d and in the Day of Judgement must not offend his neighbor.
Say ye: “We believe in G-d (Allah), and the revelation given to us, and to Abraham, Isma’il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) prophets from their Lord: We make no difference between one and another of them: And we bow to G-d (Allah) (in Islam).”
