Statement on Terrorist Attacks & Hate Crimes

Ar-Razzaq Islamic Center joins with all those across the nation and around the world who are condemning in the strongest terms these terrorist attacks and hate crimes we are witnessing around the world today, whether it be against our Muslim, Jewish or Christian Brothers and Sisters.  Allah says in the Holy Qur’an, Chapter 5, Verse 32: “Whoever kills a soul, except for justice, it is as if you have killed all of humanity, and whoever saves a soul it is as if you have saved all of humanity.”

We ask that you pray for all communities of faith to be protected from the vicious evil and hate we are witnessing in the world today.  We join with you in the stand against hate and for peace, and we ask that all right minded Muslims condemn all acts of terrorism and all forms of hatred.

Please join us in the stand against hate and for peace.

O Humanity! We have created you of a male and female, and made you into nations and tribes, so that you may know one another. Verily, the most honorable of you with in the sight of G-d is he who is the most righteous of you. G-d is All-knowing and All-aware.

Holy Qur'an, Chapter 49, Verse 13

Whoever believes in G-d and in the Day of Judgement must not offend his neighbor.

Saying of Muhammad the Prophet (peace be upon him)

Say ye: “We believe in G-d (Allah), and the revelation given to us, and to Abraham, Isma’il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) prophets from their Lord: We make no difference between one and another of them: And we bow to G-d (Allah) (in Islam).”

Holy Qur'an Chapter 2, Verse 136
